At first, your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you on a half-day tour of Lisbon. Then, you’ll pass by some of the oldest neighbourhoods of Lisbon and visit the Commercial Square. It’s one of the largest squares in Europe and, for many centuries, the main entrance to the city of Lisbon. Currently, it’s used for cultural events, New Year’s Eve, and music concerts.
Overnight in: Lisbon
Firstly, you’ll visit the charming village of Sintra, located in a Natural Park, with castles and grand mansions that served as summer homes for the Portuguese royal family. There, you can visit the Pena Palace, an astonishing 19th-century fairytale palace. Starting on April 2nd, new palace rules prohibit guiding within the interior of Pena Palace. To ensure you don’t miss a thing, our guides will deliver a full historical briefing before you enter and remain with you throughout the visit for any logistical support you may need.
After that, your afternoon will be spent visiting the emblematic district of Belém, the launching point of the Portuguese discoveries. There, you can see the Belém Tower, the Discoveries Monument, visit the church of the Jerónimos Monastery, and taste the world-famous custard tarts of Belém.
Lastly, you’ll enjoy the sunset as you sail through the city of Lisbon on board a sailboat on the river Tagus. During the tour, you will see Lisbon from a different perspective.

Discover the typical crafts, the rich gastronomy, the traditions, the aromas and flavours in a unique atmosphere that characterises this region.
First, visit Óbidos, a medieval town and one of Portugal’s most interesting walled cities. There, you can sample the typical ‘Ginja’.
After, visit Nazaré, Portugal’s most famous fishing village because of the “big wave phenomenon”. It’s where the American surfer Garrett McNamara set a world record in 2011, surfing a 90-foot wave.
Finally, you’ll also visit Fátima, Portugal’s religious capital, which attracts millions of pilgrims every year.
Overnight in: Tomar
First, start your day in Tomar, with its historic center, home to the highest concentration of monuments. There, you’ll visit the Convent of Christ, regarded as one of the greatest monastic complexes in Europe.
Afterwards, in Coimbra, known as the city of students, you can visit the oldest university in Europe and its world-famous library.
Finally, in Aveiro, considered the Venice of Portugal, you will take a boat trip through the city’s canals before you arrive at Porto.
Overnight in: Porto
During this Oporto tour, we will discover the city’s history and culture. At first, you’ll stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center, admiring the blue-and-white tiles on the city walls. You will visit the city’s most important monuments and best viewpoints.
Later, you’ll cross the Dom Luís metal bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia. There, you’ll visit the Port wine cellars, an ideal place to end your day with a tasting of the oldest wine in the world! Additionally, you’ll enjoy the fantastic landscapes on board a typical local boat called ‘Rabelo’.
Overnight in: Porto
Firstly, you’ll visit Braga, the Archbishops’ city, which is formerly known as “Bracara Augusta”. It’s the oldest city in Portugal, playing a key role in the Roman occupation.
Later, in Guimarães, lose yourself in the streets of the Cinquecentist Guimarães’ centre. Get to know the Castle of Guimarães, considered ‘The First of Portugal’. There rests the very foundation of Portuguese nationality and the 18th-century Ducal Palace, classified as a National Monument.
Also, throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to see more of the Minho region by visiting other iconic landmarks between the two cities.
Overnight in: Douro
Explore one of Portugal’s most beautiful regions: the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will find several vineyards planted on the mountain slopes, and you will make a panoramic tour to see breathtaking landscapes, visit local wineries, and taste the famous Douro wine.
Furthermore, at Pinhão village, you will visit the railway station to see the famous 24-tile panels depicting landscapes of the Douro Region.
Overnight in: Douro
During this tour, you will discover the unique natural beauty of Manteigas. It’s located about 700m above sea level, in the glacial valley of the Serra da Estrela. There, you can visit a Burel Factory.
Then, you’ll visit Seia, on the southwestern slopes of Serra da Estrela. Additionally, you’ll pass by Piodão, a small village with houses made of schist.
Lastly, you will visit Belmonte, a village with a mystical significance in international Sephardic history. Also, it has a great connection to Jewish history. There, you can visit: the Castle, the Jewish Museum and the Hebrew Tombstone, the BET ELIAHU Synagogue and the Jewish Quarter.
Overnight in: Belmonte
First, start by visiting Monsanto, which has origins dating back to the Paleolithic period. The village houses are inlaid and built in granite and schist, characteristic stones of the region. It’s also where some episodes of the House of the Dragon series were filmed.
Next, visit the village of Ródão, with enormous historical importance of geological nature. About 600 million years old. There, can visit the Natural Monument’ Portas de Ródão’. It’s where the Tagus River runs,, entrenched among giant quartzite, formations, creating a geological formation.
At last, visit Castelo de Vide, built in the 13th century. It’s full of history, traditions, and many other surprises.
Overnight in: Marvão
During this tour, start by visiting Marvão, considered one of the most spectacular walled villages in the country. Undoubtedly. Set at the very top of the Serra de São Mamede, it offers splendid views of the region.

Overnight in: Évora
Firstly, you’ll visit Évora, the Capital of Alto Alentejo. There, you can visit San Francisco’s Church, the Bones Chapel, and the Roman Temple of Évora. Get to know more about the wine production with a guided tour of a local winery. Also, you can visit a store and a cork factory, considered the most important industry in Portugal.
You can even visit S. Pedro do Corval, a small village in Alentej,o widely known as the Capital of Pottery.
The beauty and conservation of the village of Monsaraz are impressive, making it a unique museum village in the region.
