Portugal Premium Tours is the evolution of a small private tours company, ActionTur. ActionTur started in 2008 and has always stood for 100% client satisfaction. With the achievement of the initial goals of ActionTur and aware of Portugal\u2019s potential as an excellent tourist destination, the concept evolved into Portugal Premium Tours in 2012. As part of this development, we have reorganized, extended and diversified our private tours portfolio and concept.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Jos\u00e9 was born in Lisbon and is an unconditional fan of outdoor sports, adventure and travel. He loves the Portuguese mountains, landscapes and culture, and has a special affection for the Douro wine region and for the Oporto and Lisbon areas. From here she decided to venture out and do an internship in the center of Europe to get to know new cultures and have new experiences, where she developed a great enthusiasm for making Portugal known to international colleagues.

Born in the surroudings of Lisbon, Carlos is a Man of the West, a region which he feels a great passion for. Born in Lisbon, but living in Sintra since childhood, Bernardo is passionate about History since a young age. His passion for the Contemporary history, led him to follow this same strand in its academic studies, having been graduated in the year 2017 from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. He is in love with Portugal, for its beauty, traditions, gastronomy and culture. Loves to travel, something which for him is, in addition to touring, a constant learning exercise.

Born in Oeiras, Herlander decided at the age of 15 to have a career in tourism. After attending a specialized course in restaurant\/bar service, he embraced the activity of national tour guide. With more than 20 years of experience, Herlander is now an expert in the field of sightseeing and nature tours. He likes to talk about everything and describes himself as a car enthusiast \u2013 particularly when it comes to his beloved UMM (Made in Portugal, of course).
\nAn optimist by nature, he is proud of the conquers, culture, and Portuguese gastronomy. He also truly believes that the Portuguese are good at everything they put their minds to. Born on the Island of Madeira, the Pearl of the Atlantic, he hails from a destination known for its stunning beauty and unique cuisine, with specialties such as Bolo do Caco and Madeira Wine. In 2016, he accepted the challenge of studying in mainland Portugal, starting his academic journey in Castelo Branco, in the heart of the country. After completing his studies, he moved to Lisbon, a city that quickly captured his heart and became his home.<\/p>\n

Since then, he has traveled through Portugal from North to South, exploring both coastal cities and those inland. Passionate about people, he loves listening to and sharing stories, proudly promoting the traditions, diversity, and cultural richness of the country. Born in Lisbon, Rodrigo is passionate about history and heritage. He currently lives in Sintra, on the outskirts of the capital city, a region he knows well and that is part of his personal and professional daily life. Rodrigo is passionate about Portuguese culture, but not only that. He embraced the idea of becoming a tour guide in 2021, during the height of the pandemic, deciding to take a risk and pursue a career he had always dreamed of and trained for.<\/p>\n

Passionate about travel, he believes the best way to get to know a region is through its gastronomy, as it is at the table that we get to know the people, identity, and traditions of a region. Born and raised in Vila Real, in the passionate wine region of the Douro, Jo\u00e3o is a true native of Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes.<\/div>\n

In 2022, he graduated in Tourism from the Universidade de Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes e Alto Douro and has been working as a tour guide ever since.<\/p>\n

After a season as a sailor on the Douro River, he moved to Lisboa in 2024, bags packed, in search of new horizons, new challenges, and new stories to tell. Jo\u00e3o is passionate about history, astronomy, and Eastern and esoteric philosophies. His energy, creativity, and easy smile win everyone over.<\/p>\n
